Understanding the 98hh Game Lobby — A Closer Look
The way the 98hh Game Lobby is structured reflects a straightforward philosophy — players in Pakistan don't want to spend five minutes finding a game before they've even started playing. The lobby is the response to that. Everything is accessible from one screen, the filters work quickly, and the layout doesn't require any orientation period to navigate.
One of the practical realities of building a lobby for Pakistani players is that mobile is the primary device for the majority of users. Whether someone is in Karachi using a mid-range Android on 4G, or in Lahore at home on Wi-Fi, the experience needs to be consistent and fast. The 98hh lobby loads efficiently across connection types, and the game tiles themselves don't require heavy pre-loading before you can see them clearly.
The category structure in the lobby maps directly to the main sections of 98hh: Live Casino, Slot Games, Slots, Bingo, Sports and the App. Each has its own filter in the lobby bar. Selecting Live Casino, for example, narrows the display to all active live dealer tables, and you can see at a glance which ones have the most players, what the current minimum bets are in PKR, and which variants are running at that moment.
The Sports section in the lobby is worth calling out separately because it works slightly differently from the casino categories. Instead of individual game tiles, the Sports filter brings up current and upcoming betting markets. During a Pakistan cricket match — particularly PSL fixtures or T20 internationals — the sports section of the lobby is visibly the most active part of the platform, with live in-play markets updating continuously.
Bingo rooms in the lobby show the next scheduled draw time alongside the current number of players in each room and the ticket price range. This is useful information before you commit to buying tickets — you can see whether a draw is thirty seconds away or still twelve minutes out, and decide whether to wait or pick a different room with an imminent draw.
Getting the Most from the Lobby Search and Filter
The search function handles partial matches, so you don't need to type a full game title — a few characters is usually enough to surface the right result. If you're looking for a slot you saw mentioned somewhere and you know part of the name, the search will find it. The same applies to Live Casino variants — typing "speed" will pull up Speed Baccarat and any other speed-format tables.
The Popular filter is genuinely reflective of actual player behaviour on 98hh rather than an arbitrary editorial pick. It's based on real play data, which means during PSL season the Sports markets will feature prominently in Popular, while at other times it'll lean more towards the top-performing slot titles and live casino tables.
Using the New filter regularly is the best way to stay current with what's been added to the 98hh library. The platform's catalogue grows over time — particularly in the Slots and Slot Games sections — and new titles often include features or mechanics that aren't found in older games. Checking New every few visits takes thirty seconds and occasionally surfaces something worth adding to your regular rotation.
The lobby is also the logical starting point if you're not sure what you want to play. Rather than going directly to a section you've used before, opening the lobby and browsing for a few minutes can surface game types you hadn't considered. A live game show might not be something you'd navigate to directly, but seeing it highlighted in the lobby with a "Popular" tag and an active player count might be enough to give it a try.
Depositing Before You Play
The lobby is accessible without a deposit, but to launch any real-money game you'll need funds in your 98hh wallet. Depositing is straightforward — JazzCash and Easypaisa are the fastest options for most Pakistani players, with funds appearing in your account wallet within seconds of the transaction completing. Raast, Bank Transfer and card payments are also supported. All amounts are in PKR throughout the process — there's no currency conversion at any stage.
